Attention Democrats! The Republican Chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee doesn't believe there is enough outrage over Bush's illegal wiretapping operation. ARE YOU LISTENING? (Yes Russ, I know you are listening). " Specter said he had informed President Bush about his intention and that he has attracted several potential co-sponsors of his amendment to a spending bill." Several POTENTIAL co-sponsors???? Democrats who give a damn about the civil liberties of this country should be all over this like white on rice!!! Oh wait, maybe this is it, ""We have a Congress which candidly is more concerned about re-election and fund raising and who controls the House and the Senate than in asserting constitutional prerogatives," Specter said. "That's not the way it ought to be.""
