You're using the deaths of these soldiers to promote your own agenda. My nephew's name is on your list and he believed in the war in Iraq. When you use their names to further your cause, you blaspheme the service of those who gave their life for what they truly believed in.
Jill,
I am truly sorry for your loss.
While you are certainly free to attribute any motive to me that you wish, I have chosen to publish these numbers and the names that they represent so that no one will forget the sacrifice they have made.
The fact is, no matter your or my opinion of the events in Iraq, your nephew and the thousands of soldiers and civilians who have died there should be remembered and honored - not hidden from view. As a veteran of another time, I honor their sacrifice.
Peace,
Chad (The Left) Shue
