The Losers Gallery

To use one of my favorite politically inspired rhetorical phrases - The are "some" who ask why I seem to spend so much energy questioning the Democrats who would seek to govern our country when it is the Republicans who represent all that is evil.

I am proud to present my lesbian girlfriend and Air America Host, Rachel Maddow who explains why I shouldn't have to worry about the Republicans (if there is any sanity remaining in this country)

Of course, as was witnessed in 2004, we know that there are still some folks in this country who would vote for the devil itself if it meant stopping the overthrow of our country by the "gay illegal immigrants bent on forcing socialized medicine down our throats." I mean, my god, those Democrats are actually running a woman, a black man, and a latino (probably undocumented too) for Commander in Chief. However I believe even those folks have finally begun to see the light.

At the end of the day the question to me is, if this is the best the Republicans can muster, what better opportunity for the Democrats to end this pandering to an imaginary "swing voter" and actually seek out the best person to be president? I truly believe that the American people are not interested in who "can do it better than George Bush." I believe they want someone who will do it different than George Bush.
