Dennis Kucinich was right and it's time to make him President

Now it’s time to support the Man who knew.

Is congress representing you?

With everything falling in their lap torture, CIA-cover-up we still are funding The Iraq occupation! The country is falling apart. Health insurance is at an all time high and growing. NAFTA and CAFTA are sending jobs out of the country, ruining the economic standard of many in Mexico and other countries and putting millions of our nations people out of work. The dollar is diving for the floor. The richest 1% have invested in overseas industry and the Euro. This government is selling chunks of the country to Dubai, China, Saudi Arabia and Mars. Gas is 12 cents a gallon in Venezuela, 78 cents in Kuwait, and 91 cents in Saudi Arabia. We are spending 13 billion dollars a week on these wars which we borrow from china. Where’s the beef?

Dennis was right!

Impeachment has been stifled by the DNC/DLC and many of the democrats who receive large donations from special interest groups!

Dennis was right!

Who besides Kucinich has been screaming for impeachment of the criminals not the rest of the so-called Candidates ONLY Kucinich! In all fairness I am not sure about Richardson on impeachment but he certainly isn’t screaming for it. The public wants Cheney Impeached and Bush to follow I am sure! So who are these representatives working for? Not for the public as they should be. The republicans are just plain and simple traitors and only care about their personal interests.

Dennis was right!

It is high time the democrats, Independents, greens and others hold these congressional reps and senators feet to the fire. I attended a Candidates forum yesterday and found that Kucinich of course was right on the issues. Richardson was a close second but even the Richardson representative stated that Bill was leaning more toward the Kucinich plan on healthcare.

Dennis was right!

Another crime in our system is that Iowa and New Hampshire can spin the election to favor a certain candidate.
I say to those two states “You have done a real bad job in the last two elections Shameful!

Why in the land of the free and the home of the brave can only 5% of the people afford to run for president?
We don’t have a Democracy it’s a dictatorship with only the wealthiest running the country!

The people of this country who shove their heads in the sand when it comes to how our government represents them are responsible for the policies and actions, which the oligarchy has perpetrated around the globe.

I indict everyone who is complicit in their responsibility as American citizens as accomplices to what the past and present occupants of the highest office in the land!

Ignorance may be bliss to some but to me it is tantamount to genocide, treason and torture, murder!

I invite all caring people to learn about the issues and the process so we may have some chance to bring the United States of America back to the place where our fore fathers sacrificed life and limb for their independence from tyranny and religious persecution or as I see it persecution for organized religion!

Let’s be honest with each other. Please! If you want to change the system change the way the candidates can finance campaigns.

Take the big money from corporations out of the hands of all the republicans, and Democrats like the DLC candidate Hillary Clinton.

Do you think for one minute that Hillary Clinton isn’t going to pay back the business interests for the millions of dollars they have invested in here campaign? Sounds like a serious gamble to me!

It’s time for everyone to realize that our nation will continue to get the same kind of non-representative government we have had every time we put the republican neo-conservative or Republicrat centrists in charge.

The cycle must be broken now!

The moderator at the Candidates forum spoke passionately about how we should support our choice in a Democratic candidate. He was polite and passionate. He talked about educating ourselves about the process and the issues. I agree with him on those points but I am eager to point out that it’s not enough anymore. It’s time to not only become educated it’s past time to get involved in the process itself. It’s time to take a stand and fight for our independence again!

Whoa! No, I am saying use the tools that our Constitution provides to end the plutocratic hold on our system of government. End the cancer, which has infected the political process and leaderships! Fight tooth and nail with the policy makers who have sold our country out for a few pieces of gold! Hold this, 20% approval rated, congress responsible for the continuing Destruction and Death in Iraq and other places around the world!
Hold this congress responsible for the American workers whose jobs have been exported to slave labor societies because their campaigns depend on corporate money to run.

These people are playing games with the lively hoods and lives of current and future generations.

The rich are foolish enough to think that they may have to sit in their castles someday and ride out the worst of times. That is plain stupidity!

When the country suffers from depression, recession famine, plague or WAR everyone will. Not just the poor.

It’s about the world we were born to. It’s all the good and bad things we are to be confronted with in life. It’s about our responsibility for our children and future generations.

If we become so naive or arrogant that none of these horrible things could possibly happen in our country. I would remind you to look at history and the rise and fall of past civilizations. The arrogance and decadence of Rome, Egypt the British Empire Nazi Germany. There are better examples. I am sure. The Crusades and the Civil War not to mention Vietnam!

Our history has been trail of perennial destruction!

We now have the immanent threat of global warming.

I have digressed beyond oblivion now. My apologies.

The bottom line is not a warning it’s reality ladies and gentleman! If we don’t support
Candidates who represent the best interests of the people and the planet we and delaying the inevitable. I think most of us can be honest. It’s not about race, sex, money, or power.

It’s about who is going to defend us from all threats. Poverty, disease, war, poisoning of the earth, fascism, government corruption & corporate international treason!

Politicians have said over and over again that there are times when they vote with their conscience. I think that’s an excuse for their pandering legislative votes like some of the pro-war Centracrats who keep funding death and destruction.

When conscience comes into play with a decision making process it is what will help my sisters and brothers in the best way. Common sense, right or wrong, good or bad. It’s not rocket science. I know there are good people left who are not driven by greed and lust for power and position.

There are the backroom dealers in the Republican and Democratic parties whose mission is to win. Nothing more just win. They are behind the scenes stealth operators who use their contacts with special interest groups to find candidates and financing for prospective candidates who will play ball with the national parties. These stealth operators mean well but are just another enemy of the democratic process. They come from anywhere. State and local parties to nationals like the CRIMINAL GOP & 1000’S OF FRONT GROUPS the DNC, DCCC, DSCC and the DLC.

The State and national party will give us a dose with Hillary Clinton. They have set up a strategic back door campaign to push Hillary Clinton down the throats of all the LD’s.

I urge everyone to watch state party representatives very closely and see if there is a pattern of talking points or surprising support for Hillary. You may see this from folks that you know who in the past have voted appropriately left instead of the notorious centrist philosophy which has given us NAFTA, CAFTA media consolidation, War and environmental destruction. Obviously it’s a choice for anyone but do not let these individuals’ positions or rank influence your vote or position. They are no better informed than you may be.

It’s best for all of us to look at the Issues one at a time and overlook the rhetoric, which the corporate media and the two parties use to confuse the voter and distract them from what is really important. Confront these backers of Hillary and other special interest candidates with the questions, which are most important to everyone.

Do you want?

Our troops out of the Iraq Occupation NOW!
Healthcare for all!
Jobs in this country not in Beijing China!
Public Financing of elections!
From Global warming the patriot act!
An end to unfair trade agreements like NAFTA CAFTA PERU
Government corruption.

Dennis was right!

These are simple questions, which need only be answered with direct understandable language. Not a load of Rhetoric.

Hold the all candidates and the people speaking for the candidates to the questions.

Remember what your Mothers, Fathers, Grandfathers and Grandmothers went through in life.

Respect them and tell the party leadership to stop the suppression of the other candidates like Richardson, Biden, Dodd, Gravel and Kucinich.

Hillary is not Bill, Obama is an articulate guy, and Edwards speaks out about corporate control of our government. It’s hard to believe these three so-called “top tier” candidates really represent the poor, those in nursing homes, the sick, service men and women, Vet’s or working America.

We truly need someone who is going to do something where many of these so-called “top tier” candidates haven’t even attempted to correct many of these problems while in office.

Dennis Kucinich is right again!

Please Vote with your mind heart and soul.

Dennis Kucinich 2008

We see the suppression by the media everyday in this country.
The latest example of media corruption is from the “Des Monies Register”
They have decided to exclude Dennis Kuinich and Mike Gravel from the democratic debate. The excuse is still unclear to me but some reports are that they are not inviting them because they do not have a local office there. Kucinich and Gravel have fulfilled the requirements from the party and are candidates in the election. Iowa is pulling a fast one on the voters again.
For the democratic voters of this country to allow such manipulation by corporate media is another act of complacency. We democrats should never stand by and allow this total lack of fairness to go on unchecked! I along with many have called the register today and expressed out-rage over this crime against the democratic process.
I encourage you and any concerned democrats to call your candidate Edwards, Clinton, Obama, Richardson, Dodd, Biden and demand they show some class and boycott the debate until ALL the candidates are represented. Also call the “Des Monies Register” and give them an earful. The toll free number is (800) 247-5346

If any of you would like to write an op-ed about this unfairness and need help sending it out to media please contact me and I will help you any way possible.
Thank You
Ozy

Visit "http://www.anationdeceived.org" and listen to a Podcast of an interview related to impeachment and the promise of a more peaceful world.

Ozy, your blog is so "spot on." I, too, have phoned the Des Moines Register to protest the blackballing of Dennis Kucinich in a debate that DFA promoted as an effort to keep the progressive agenda moving. What a fraudulent process this debate is, unless they reverse their decision to exclude Kucinich and Gravel.

Thank you so much for this post. Anytime you hear a Democrat talking and voting like a Republican the D.L.C. and their phony Progressive think tank is behind their ideologies.

The fault however lies in Progressive Democrats in this country. If everyone who believes that Cheney and Bush should be impeached, if everyone who is deeply disappointed with the Democratic majority that we voted for, and if everyone who is fed up with corporate politicians voted for Kucinich it would truly be an exercise in democracy.

Tomorrow is the anniversary of the ratification of the Bill of Rights and a Kucinich activist has created a movement december152007 calling on all true Progressives to donate $100 to the campaign tomorrow. $100 is a small investment for the future of this country. I urge all of your readers to stand up and vote for the best leader, Dennis Kucinich.

To Howard Dean
Cc: Dwight Pelz
Cc: The Iowa State Democratic Party and ALL Presidential Campaigns

It's sad to see the “Des Monies Registers” unjust debate endorsed buy the six candidates for presidency today.

It would have shown such strength of character if any one of these potential presidential nominees tell the register that "I will not participate in the debate until All the candidates are represented".
Alas none of them could even do this. Shameful!

How can we expect any of these candidates to unite the people when they can't even unite themselves when such an unethical practice is perpetrated on Dennis Kucicnich and Mike Gravel who have fulfilled the requirements to run for Presenident of the United States.

It’s an insult to the process and has shown the horrendous lack of quality leadership coming from the embarrassingly inept democratic hierarchy.
Obviously Howard Dean lacks the ability as a true leader because of his silence in this matter. I also indict any and all State Parties for their inaction against this blatant discrimination and media manipulation.

Where has the Democratic Party of My fathers’ generation gone?

What a disappointment to fairness, ethics and justice.

Ozy American for integrity and honor.

The two party system holds this country in a stranglehold. We must find a way to remove the powerbrokers from the process or we are all lost. We have been sold out in every way by BOTH parties. Use your vote to show them that they don't own you.

I do hold the Iowa Democratic party as responsible as I do the National party and the Candidates!

All it would have take was for each of the Candidates to tell the Des Monies Register we will not participate in the Debate unless all the Candidates are allowed to debate.

Compliancy from the party is an indictment of their lack of leadership and support of fellow democrats.

I would even go so far as to request the new Chair and Vice Chair in all legislative distircts and State parties to step up and write a letter to Howard Dean and the Iowa Dems asking for action to condemn the practice of excluding any qualified candidate from any event where there are actions which undermine the principles of the Democratic platform. If the Iowa Democrats have already condemned the Register for this outrageous discrimination then I will apologize for my misplaced rage.

I have also read where the Iowa State Democrats have had a hand in getting Dennis and Mike excluded from public television appearances. True or false that kind of exclusion is contrary to the democratic process and does not set a good example to the public.
The party leadership has a fiduciary duty and ethical responsibility to support and defend candidates from these kinds of political tactics!

I would like to see any Democrat in a leadership position tell me that the money does not give the rich candidates an unfair advantage.

Each and Every Democrat that does not find this kind of stuff unethical and just wrong I would be disappointed in. We party members are better than this. Are we not?

I would be just as adamant about this if Clinton was excluded and I expect my party leadership to have the same values of honesty and fairness as we do.

If we can’t count on our leadership to stand up for each and every candidate what good are they?
