9 years into this country’s invasion and occupation of Afghanistan, just as in Iraq, our “mission” continues to evolve to suit the circumstances. From chasing down Osama bin Laden to propping up a government more friendly to the United States; both George W Bush and now Barrack Obama tell us that we are providing stability and security for the Afghani people.
